Checking fixed trips in connection with refuelings / chargings

Note: Adding a refueling / charging is only necessary when using the Actual Expense Method. In the case of using the Standard Mileage Rate, you only need to log your arrival at the gas / charging station (the trip itself), as you would with any other client / location.

What Does It Mean When I Receive the Message “No Fixed Trip When Refueling / Charging,” and How Can I Fix It?

When you use the AI Wizard feature, MileageWise checks your trips based on the parameters you’ve set.

To ensure your mileage log is accurate, the system expects to find at least one Fixed trip on the day you refueled or charged your vehicle.
Fixed trips include:

  • Recurring daily trips

  • Trips recorded automatically by the mobile app

  • Trips saved in the Fixed trips / Mobile app menu

If you see the “No Fixed Trip When Refueling / Charging” warning, it means there are no Fixed trips logged for that specific day.

How to Fix It: Add at least 1 trip before or after the refueling.

Once added, you can run the AI Wizard again for a more accurate mileage log.

Important

This message is only a warning — not an error.
If you prefer, you can still proceed by clicking Continue AI Wizard without making changes.
